The conceptual 'RİVO' urban bench design has been designed by Burcu Nehir Tum as a solution for the cityscape as a furniture solution that embraces citizens and public life alike. The furniture design is imagined with an aesthetically pleasing profile that includes a mostly metallic body that's slated to allow for water drainage and also breathability. The design utilizes the slated details along the armrests as a spot to hang shopping bags, purses or backpacks when seated to encourage one or more people to hang around for longer periods.
The conceptual 'RİVO' urban bench design is imagined with an extending construction that can easily transition between a single seater and a loveseat profile. The ergonomic design of the bench accommodates seniors who continue to make up an increasing percentage of urbanites.
