Designer of the Momento set of fun interactive desktop accessories, Aree Song, opted for a nostalgic feel to the fidget toys. The design goal is to capture a little bit of joy and give workers a moment of escape from mundane chores, especially when working long hours in home offices.
Momento, which means "take a moment" in Spanish, uses simple forms and basic colors for its simplistic design. The collection includes three interactive objects, all of which serve a dual purpose.
A tape dispenser mimics the exciting movement of a swing set. Second, a yellow seesaw-inspired pen holder boasts a retractable bottom. The final element in the collection is a triangular cord organizer, which features a sliding red circle.
