Elanco’s Pet Collection is a series of four furniture pieces developed with Milan-based studio Parasite 2.0, presented at BASE Milano during Fuorisalone 2026. The project translates animal forms into domestic objects, using dog-inspired silhouettes to highlight how fleas spread across shared living environments. Each piece takes on both a breed reference and a furniture typology, turning sofas, chairs, and tables into exaggerated, fur-covered forms that directly mirror pets in the home.
The collection includes the Basset Longue, a chaise shaped like a Basset Hound with striped faux fur and chrome legs, and a Dalmatian sofa with spotted upholstery and rounded backrests resembling a curled body. A Yorkchair armchair is wrapped in long golden faux fur, while the Gattond coffee table introduces a feline variation with a polished top and sculptural base. Each piece uses humor and visual exaggeration to draw attention to how fleas move between animals and furniture.
