Ultra-Compact Cabins

Mantra Micro Cabin Offers a $17,000 Micro Living Unit Built for Short Stays

The Mantra Micro Cabin is a stripped-down tiny dwelling by Simplify Further Tiny Homes designed as an ultra-compact retreat rather than a full-time residence. The structure sits on a double-axle trailer and measures roughly 16 feet in length, with only about 12 feet dedicated to interior living space. Its total usable area is around 98 square feet, positioning it far below the size of most modern tiny homes while keeping construction and purchase costs significantly lower.

The interior is organized as a single multifunctional room with a bed, seating, and a small table that doubles as a workspace or dining surface. It includes basic features like a wall-mounted TV and mini-split air conditioning, but excludes a kitchen and bathroom to maintain its minimal footprint. Exterior materials combine engineered wood cladding with pine accents and a metal roof.

Lower-cost tiny dwellings that omit full-service amenities are reshaping access thresholds for temporary ownership and impulse purchase living solutions.
Mobile Minimalist Architecture
