Privacy-Centric Smartphones

The Volla Plinius Runs Independently with a Replaceable Battery

The Volla Plinius smartphone is a privacy-focused device designed to operate without Google services, offering alternative operating systems built around user control and minimal data tracking. The Volla Plinius smartphone runs Volla OS, a simplified Android-based system with a text-driven interface and a security mode that limits external app communication. It also supports Ubuntu Touch, allowing the phone to function as a Linux-based system that can extend to desktop use when connected to a monitor.

The device features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with 5G connectivity. It includes a 5,300 mAh battery with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging, while maintaining a user-replaceable design despite its IP68 rating. The camera system includes a 64MP main sensor, alongside ultra-wide and macro lenses.
