Privacy-Centric Smartphones

Punkt Mc03 Smartphone is Sold Without Data Monetisation

The Punkt MC03 smartphone is designed to operate without advertising, tracking, or data monetisation. The device runs AphyOS, a privacy-focused operating system built on the Android Open Source Project, and requires users to pay directly for software support rather than exchanging personal data for services. Core system functions are separated from third-party apps to limit background data collection and tracking.

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120-hertz refresh rate, a removable 5,200-milliamp-hour battery, and IP68 water and dust resistance. It is designed in Switzerland and manufactured in Germany. The MC03 uses a MediaTek chipset and supports standard smartphone functionality while restricting app permissions and network access at the system level. AphyOS includes a first-year subscription for security updates and services, with continued access requiring a paid renewal after the initial period.
