Inspired by Piet Mondrain, the Mono is a marvel of design and engineering. Originally, this monolithic slab was designed for theaters and cinema halls. Its unique mechanism allows it to unravel from its monolithic slab into a plush cinema-style seat.
When closed, the Mono sits at 4.7 inches thick. It opens up to reveal armrests and a comfortable movie seat. This modular way of seating is ideal for tight spaces, like narrow movie theater rows.
Its lever mechanism allows the seat and armrests to rise synchronously through one swift movement. In addition, the chair boasts a spring-loaded mechanism, which allows it to quickly spring back into its monolithic slab shape. The Mono is available in multicolored or natural wood colorways.
