Ross Lovegrove pays homage to the iconic Go Chair for Bernhardt Design with the special PolarisGo Chair. It breathes life back into the innovative nature of the original design by using progressive magnesium technology to create the vertices of the futuristic chair. It is made with inspiration from data collected from the 2024 Polaris Dawn mission.
Half of the proceeds earned from this project will be directed towards St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The original Go Chair was revolutionary and the first to use injected magnesium at the core. This ensures that it finishes in a smooth and seamless manner. The soft satin finish is reminiscent of American cars. The frame is paired with a plastic seat to remain lightweight.
