Summer is here and the June 2021 food trends are packed with warm-weather eats.

For example, Frito-Lay debuted three creative new Lay's flavors for summer 2021, including Chile Mango, Wavy Jerk Chicken, and Summer BLT. In Canada, Lay's also released three new chip flavors inspired by other popular snack foods like Ruffles, Doritos and Smartfood.
Of course, summer is also a great time for fruity desserts and the June 2021 food trends reveal plenty of sweet new options. For instance, Trader Joe's has a tangy new Pineapple Fruit Spread that can be enjoyed on everything from toast to cheesecake. Another great option is the new Smoothie Bites from Simply. These snackable treats are made with freeze-dried fruit pieces and skim milk yogurt, which is perfect for a hot day.
