Top 100 Multimedia Trends in May

From VR-Based Co-Watching Platforms to AR Exhibition Apps

The May 2020 multimedia round-up shares examples of tech-forward innovations that have spurred to meet the demand created by physical distancing rules which many governments have imposed in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. From Samsung's collection of six fitness apps that are compatible with its TVs to the many AR-supplemented art fairs which are launch as a result of canceled events, the ground-breaking designs here seek to connect, entertain, and even soothe economic strain.

A great, tech-forward example of connectivity in the May 2020 multimedia list is Bigscreen who has launched Bigscreen TV and Bigscreen Cinema. Both are VR-powered experiences and platforms that connect users in different locations, enabling them to watch content together while being mindful of the physical distancing rules.
