Skype Launched a New Call Feature Named 'Meet Now'

Skype recently released a new ‘Meet Now’ call feature, which does not require the user to have an account with Skype or download the app. The new ‘Meet Now’ feature allows users to launch and share meeting invitations with others. Invitations can be passed on by either sending a link or selecting the share button on Skype. After an invitation has been sent, other users can easily join the call.

The new feature is a direct response to current events, where people are relying on video platforms for communication as people work or attend classes online. Due to its convenience, the new feature may drive more traffic to the Skype platform instead of other video calling apps.
