ICICI Bank, based out of India, recently added a new chatbot powered by AI for the ICICI mobile banking app. The chatbot is named 'iPal,' and it is able to provide users with voice-based banking functionality through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Customers are able to access the new functions through linking their accounts with their Alexa or Assistant devices, and following that they can use their voice to check balances, credit scores, previous transactions, and more.
Overall the AI-powered voice assistant capabilities will improve the functionality of the ICICI mobile banking app, by providing a new element of convenience.
