Genvid Technologies is Integrating Phones into Streaming

Genvid Technologies runs the Genvid platform, which is the first broadcasting solution that was created for gamers. Recently the organization announced a number of investments form Huya, NTT, Samsung Ventures, and others. The investments will help Genvid Technologies bolsters its interactive streaming capabilities. Genvid is currently one of the largest streaming services in China and with increased access to capital, the platform could see more successes, specifically by creating infrastructures to tether mobile phones to the user experience.

The CEO of Genvid technologies spoke about investment, "Samsung Ventures represents an opportunity to bring interactive streaming to TVs connected to mobile phones, while Huya will dramatically extend our reach in China and firmly establish Genvid as the ‘write-once, deploy everywhere’ solution for rich, synchronized interactivity."

Overall integrating smartphones into streaming could provide a far more interactive experience for viewers, as it can allow them to participate.
