Google Meet Will Now Be Free for Anyone with a Gmail Account

Google Meet will become for everyone with a Gmail account beginning in May. The tech giant is making this move in order to help people interact, and users can host meetings with up to 100 other users. Google Meet is also compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

Google Meet is also integrated with Google Calendar, and users can start meetings directly through Google Calendar. The platform also features live captions and an extensive tile layout. Meetings for free users are supposed to be limited to 60 minutes, however, Google has indicated this time limit will be waived until September 30th.

Overall, free access will help people connect and communicate as needed through an unprecedented time.
