The 2020 drinking trends highlight innovations spanning everything from bubble tea and coffee, to CBD drinks and alcoholic beverages.
To save on waste, Grolsch swapped its traditional plastic shrink wrap packaging for the Smurfit Kappa TopClip. The eco-friendly alternative is made form 100 percent renewable paper, which is biodegradable and recyclable. Although less resistant to water and tears, the paper packaging is still more than capable of holding a six pack together, and has helped the brand to eliminate 100,000 kilograms of plastic every year in the Netherlands.
Also highlighted are the Rancho La Gloria Wine Cocktails, which make it easy for consumers to pour up a perfectly mixed wine-based cocktail. The brand offers its pre-made cocktails in two different flavors, both of which are made with agave wine and offer a fruity taste that's perfect for the summer.
