Tampa-based craft brewery Bay Canon released a seasonal menu of beer slushies last summer, with two exclusive flavors offered. The signature flavors included Double IPA and Hibiscus Frose beverages that were available to patrons all summer long.

Bay Canon's craft beer slushies were available to patrons on tap and spotlight two beer varieties -- while its Double IPA targeted fans of stronger flavor profiles, its Hibiscus Froze option was fruitier and lighter.

Thanks to the ongoing popularity of frozen soda and juice beverages, the formula is being adapted by alcohol brands. In addition to a rise in frozen wine beverages and premium cocktails, frozen beer slushies are also gaining praise from consumers seeking a new take on alcoholic refreshments during warm months.
