Ontario Users Can Now Order Alcohol with Their Food Takeout

The COVID-19 crisis has changed the daily realities for many businesses and consumers alike new isolation protocols in place asking citizens to stay home whenever possible. The government of Ontario is now making this easier with new legalization from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) that allows users to order alcohol from restaurants and bars with their takeout orders. The orders must be between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m, with the burden of ensuring the user is of age falling on the delivery staff.
The new legalization for ordering online from bars and restaurants will not only help support local businesses but will also make it easier for users to abide by the "stay at home" policies the government and health officials are encouraging.
