Urban Chestnut Brewing Company set out to create a refreshing beverage option for non-drinkers at a local festival and found that its unsweetened, non-alcoholic sparkling hop water became a hit with an even wider range of consumers. The brewery's Hop Water is available by the can, and it is distributed in ginger and grapefruit flavors, as well as others that are infused with CBD. The beverages are appealing for being naturally free of alcohol and calories, and were painstakingly created without the use of any grains, sugar or yeast.
At a time when many consumers are turning to sparkling water beverages and non-alcoholic alternatives, a handful of brands are creating alcohol-free offerings with hop-forward flavors to offer a unique yet also familiar drinking experience.
