Low-Calorie Reduced Sugar Liqueurs

The Trulo Liqueurs Have Just 31 to 36 Calories Per Serving

Liqueurs are notorious for being quite high in sugar, so the Trulo liqueurs have been announced as a new product that is decidedly lower in the sweetener and calories to boot.

The products come in Espresso, Coconut Rum, Passion Fruit and Peach Malba Schnapps flavor options and contain just 31 to 36 calories per 25ml serving. This makes the products ideal for consumers who are looking to mix up a flavorful cocktail without having to worry about empty calories.

Managing Director of the Vale Resort and joint founding partner of the Hensol Castle Distillery Stephen Leeke spoke on the Trulo liqueurs saying, "Trulo stands for ‘truly low’ and we’ve created something that is precisely that – low in calories and sugar and lower in alcohol. We’ve worked with more than 50 mixologists and 1,500 consumers within the target demographic to develop an instantly recognizable brand that takes its cues from the world of fashion and cosmetics. Our Passion Fruit drink has been developed to tap into the cocktail culture of the popular Porn Star Martini, while our Espresso liqueur is perfect for Espresso Martinis. We’re hoping to extend the range in the near future and additional flavors are currently being developed and taste tested.”
