Products that can be crumpled and collapsed to fit into compact spaces
Implications - Living in highly urbanized and concentrated environments means that everything, from your furniture to your vehicle, must be able to fit into small and compact areas. Thus, designers are increasingly focusing their efforts on the design of collapsible products for easier storage. While recent years have seen a rise in foldable creations, these collapsible designs take on more of an accordion aesthetic, in which items can be twisted, folded and crumpled into incredibly compact sizes.
