The Discycle Gets its Design from the Stationary Rowing Machine

The Discycle is a conceptual boat designed by Bora Doker that more resembles a stationary rowing machine than an actual watercraft. The Discycle is propelled in almost the exact same way as a stationary rowing machine is used. To get the boat going forward, a rider needs only to pull back on the handles. After a few pulls, the boat reaches a cruising speed and can be propelled without anymore pulling.

The Discycle is a clever way of tricking people into working out. Doker's design is a pleasure craft at heart, but it does require physical exertion every so often. This design is likely to appeal to those turned off by the physicality involved with actual rowing and the price tag of power boats. Stats for Exercise Equipment Watercraft Trending: Older & Chilly
