Top 100 Food Trends in February

From Autonomous Cooking Robots to AI-Informed Dairy Alternatives:

The February 2021 food trends highlight restaurant menu changes, ghost kitchens that have popped up in response to the increased popularity of third-party delivery apps, better-for-you snacking alternatives, and a range of a festive products.

One such example comes from Kraft, who launched a bright pink candy-flavored macaroni and cheese in light of Valentine's Day. To promote the limited edition release, the company launched a contest that allows fans to enter for the chance to win a box for themselves.

With more consumers limiting their grocery store visits in response to the pandemic, DeliverySafe created an insulated and secure box that can be used to store food boxes and grocery deliveries when the recipient isn't at home. The boxes can be locked with a digital system, which allows consumers to share the code with delivery staff so that they can leave their orders inside.
