This Drone Delivery Test Program Will Launch in New Jersey

This drone delivery test program has been announced by Grubhub, Wonder and Dexa as a solution for helping consumers maximize access to food delivery in an ultra-fast way. The program will run for three months and will utilize the Dexa DE-2020 to transport meals directly to the home of customers, which won't come with additional delivery fees. The trial is is taking place in New Jersey and comes as part of the continued initiative to get aerial delivery services off the ground as brands seek out ways to expedite deliveries using the latest technologies.

CEO of Dexa Beth Flippo spoke on the drone delivery test program saying, "Consumers want delivery that's faster and more reliable — ­and this collaboration shows what's possible when industry innovators come together. This service is a glimpse into the future of how autonomous technology will help restaurants and retailers serve customers at a completely new level."
