Vision-Based AI Fridges

Samsung Will Unveil the Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub at CES 2026

Samsung will be unveiling its latest kitchen appliances at CES 2026 and presenting a brand-new Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub with upgraded AI Vision. With vision-based AI functionality enhanced with Google Gemini and Google Cloud, this kitchen innovation marks the first time that it is being integrated into a refrigerator.

Previously, the technology could recognize up to 37 types of fresh food and 50 types of pre-registered processed food on-device. With the latest version set to be unveiled at CES, even more support in the kitchen awaits, as the technology is planned to recognize processed foods without separate registration. What's more, Samsung aims to make it detect user-labeled items so that foods stored in personal containers can be added to the food list.

This upgrade means that ingredients can be identified more accurately and food management is simplified.
