Standouts include 1800 Tequila's limited edition AR bottle that was launched for the brand's 10th anniversary of the Essential 1800 Artist Series. "The AR experiences were created by Okuda San Miguel, a Spanish artist" and can be accessed via Snapchat by "scanning the limited-edition bottle with their mobile device." The result is a number of custom art lenses and shortform branded content.

Pepsi's Giphy campaign is another notable example that was launched earlier this year to promote the soda brand's new Pepsi Wild Cherry and Pepsi Vanilla flavors. The campaign featured two ads for each new beverage that featured popular songs from the Weeknd and LMFAO.

With less opportunity to host in-person events and activations due to COVID-19, brands are constantly finding new ways to connect with consumers through immersive tech -- something these 2020 multimedia trends showcase.
