Avalon Holographics Inc. was recently selected to the C100's 48Hrs in the Valley program, an event that helps Canadian startup companies connect with mentors, investors, and potential customers in Silicon Valley. The program was initially scheduled to be held from May 20-21 but was suspended until October due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Larua Buhler, an executive director for C100, commented on how attending this event can help startup companies, "48Hrs in the Valley is at the center of C100’s mission of supporting, inspiring, and connecting the most promising Canadian entrepreneurial leaders, and we could not be more pleased to include these founders in our community."
Avalon Holographics Inc. is a company that specializes in light field display technologies, which create natural 3D experiences without the use of accessories such as headsets or glasses. This is made possible by leveraging holographic technology, where light is replicated to create natural immersive 3D experiences. Avalon Holographics looks to apply this technology, which is currently in a prototype phase, to medical, defense, and design industries, before building towards consumer applications.
