Coca-Cola Created Enhanced QR Codes with Musical & Visual Elements

QR codes must adhere to specific standards to ensure they can be easily scanned, but within those guidelines, there's ample opportunity for artistic creativity in their design—as proven by these AI-generated QR codes. Coca-Cola collaborated with creative technologist and artist Troy Ni, and agency partner WPP Open X to create scannable codes that include more dynamic elements than usual. Enhanced with both visual and musical components, these QR codes are more inviting than usual and create curiosity as to what they lead to.

These fully functional codes are colorful with a slight sci-fi feel, and they can be found at movie theaters, stadiums and theme parks. There are five designs in all, each of which draws cues from Be Who You Are (Real Magic,) the debut music video from Coke Studio.
