Virtual AI Snow Globes

Coca-Cola Unveils a Festive AI Campaign at its Piccadilly Lights Residency

Coca-Cola has launched an interactive AI holiday campaign at London’s Piccadilly Lights to entertain passersby this holiday season. Using Ocean Outdoor’s DeepScreen technology, the campaign invites visitors to create personalized digital snow globes based on holiday memories shared with Santa via AI.

Running daily from 3 PM to 6 PM until Christmas Day, the display features Coca-Cola’s iconic Sundblom Santa Claus alongside rotating 3D animations of snow globes, complete with swirling snowflakes and icy reflections. By scanning a QR code on the screen, audiences can engage with Santa in real-time AI conversations, generating custom snow globe designs to share with loved ones.

The activation, developed with creative partner Accenture as part of Coca-Cola’s 'Create Real Magic' campaign, blends innovation with holiday cheer.

“Coca-Cola taps into Christmas nostalgia, using Ocean’s innovative technology to create an immersive 3D winter wonderland. There’s nothing quite like a 15 metre tall Santa to spread the festive spirit,” said Ocean Outdoor Group Creative Director, David Tait.
