Mos Burger Offers Dining Experience with Idols via AR

Over the next two months, customers at Mos Burger can dine with idols via AR. This fast food chain in Japan is offering diners the chance to have breakfast with singers from the Japanese idol group Morning Musume. After placing their breakfast orders (available until 11am), customers will receive a numbered card showing a photo of one of the group’s 14 members along with a QR code.

The card number is used by servers for delivering meals to the table. Diners can scan the card's QR code with their phone to bring the pictured idol to “life” in an Augmented Reality (AR) video to accompany them during breakfast. The cards are handed out randomly and there are 14 different videos, so fans of this idol group or fans of AR technology can aim for an immersive dining experience with each of the singers until November 30, 2023.
