The top 2023 food trends are here to identify the ways in which the industry evolved and shifted over the past year in order to capture the attention of the hungry consumer.
A main theme within the collection is alternative energy, which is being bolstered by products like PRIME energy drinks, Monster energy drinks and beyond. This no doubt comes in response to Gen Z consumers who might not have a penchant for coffee or tea, but are craving the energy-boosting kick from caffeine.
The vegan-friendly food product segment has also undergone an evolution as animal-free products transition from fad to mainstay amongst health and environment-conscious consumers.
