The beloved beer brand, Keystone Light, is bringing back its annual 'Big Game Hunt' promotion, but this time, the brand made it a mobile Augmented Reality experience. Fans who find the rare orange can unlock four AR animals including an elk, a duck, a boar, and a buck, that come to "life" in their own home. Simply scan the QR code on the can with your smartphone camera and click the notification tab to launch their browser. These images and videos of the virtual animals can be shared to social media.
Justine Stauffer, marketing director of economy brands, commented on the Big Game Hunt Promotion, stating: “We wanted to celebrate our annual Big Game Hunt program and give consumers a different experience they can enjoy from their homes. We are thrilled to partner with Futureman Digital to bring The Hunt and its four new animals to life for our fans with this Augmented Reality experience.”
Consumers can participate by purchasing Big Game Hunt packages until October 31st.
