Implications - Since The Hunger Games appeared on the big screen, fashion designers and editors have been eager to showcase styles and spreads based on the book and film's main character, Katniss Everdeen. There is something implicitly alluring about a girl who can wield a bow and arrow, which explains the interest in clothing and accessories inspired by this character and the image of the huntress in general. Translated into mass fashion, the hunter-inspired look includes things like arrow-inspired jewelry, intricate headpieces, chain mail accents and lots and lots of leather.
