From Natural Light to Pabst Blue Ribbon, the September 2019 beverage trends reveal that many beer brands are scrambling to get in on the hard seltzer craze.
Over the past few years, spiked sparkling water has become the drink of choice for many health-conscious millennials who are looking for a lighter alternative to beer. While craft hard seltzer brands pioneered this new category, the Septemeber 2019 beverage trends reveal that many bigger beer brands are looking for a way to get their piece of the market. For instance, Natural Light has just debuted its very own Natural Light Seltzer, which is targeted at college-age drinkers. Similarly, Pabst Blue Ribbon has debuted an ultra-spiked seltzer with an 8% ABV formula. The Four Loko Seltzer goes even a step further with a hard seltzer that clocks in at 14% ABV.
