According to legend, a lightning bolt struck the "gem" of the agave plant which allowed it to ferment and roast and become the "mystical sap" referred to as mezcal. This legend was the inspiration behind the minimalist and clean bottle design of Mezcal + Damiana. The black and white bottle label features a "gem" and a lighting bolt atop understated typography.
Gem & Bolt's spirit is made from 100% Espadin Agave and hints of Damiana herbs that create a euphoric “mood-boost.” The Mezcal + Damiana is produced in Oaxaca by slowly roasting and fermenting the agave with yeast, making it clean and free of any additives for a refined and full flavor profile.
