Artisanal mezcal brand Madre Mezcal has announced the launch of 'Desert Water,' a new line of ready-to-drink cocktails made using the brand's hand-made Madre Espadin mezcal spirit.
With the new canned cocktails, the brand intends to make mezcal-based alcohol more accessible and approachable to consumers who have yet to try the alternative spirit. Each 12oz can of Desert Spirit features a blend of mezcal, sparkling water, real fruit flavors, and unique herbs. In addition, each can contains a 5% ABV and boasts an impressive nutritional profile thanks to its superfood-based ingredient list, which includes elements such as anti-cacti fungal cacti and adaptogenic mushrooms.
Currently, the new RTD beverage is being offered in four flavors: Original, Mushroom, Grapefruit, Prickly Pear and Lemon.
