Mezcal El Silencio Runs the Find Your Silence Initiative

Known for its artisanal agave spirits from Oaxaca, Mexico, the brand Mezcal El Silencio has been acquired by the spirits company IJW Whiskey, and the transition to new ownership is accompanied by a marketing initiative titled 'Find Your Silence.' This move marks a new phase for the enterprise, while the promotional strategy promotes a philosophy of mindfulness and taking a reflective pause.

As part of Find Your Silence, Mezcal El Silencio developed a seasonal cocktail called the Piñata de Navidad. This beverage was created in partnership with Diego Livera of The Dead Rabbit and San Patricios. It serves as a centerpiece for this campaign, complete with a suggested tasting ritual to enhance the sensory experience.

The brand's product portfolio, which includes expressions at various price points from an accessible Espadín to a limited-availability Rare variant, continues to be produced using traditional methods such as slow-roasting agave and double distillation in copper pot stills.
