Lagavulin, a Diageo-owned Islay Scotch brand, recently unveiled its new, retail-exclusive 10-year-old whiskey that boasts a maturation process that takes place in three different cask types including refill, Bourbon and freshly charred casks.
The company itself boasts more than 200 years of knowledge for a high-quality and refined taste. The new alcohol is described as “sweet and salty at first, before it builds to a fiery crescendo with a spicy and smoky finish." The whiskey is ideal for consumers seeking an exceptionally flavorful whiskey that can be enjoyed on the rocks or as a key ingredient in specialty cocktails.
The Lagavulin 10 Year Old is available at select retailers for $60 USD per 700 ml bottle.
