The Lagunitas Brewing Company is now offering a beer that has been infused with cannabis, and although it does not contain any THC the plant adds a unique flavor profile to the beer. Another example of unlikely hybrids is St. Boniface Brewing's collaboration with Square One Coffee, resulting in an IPA that is made of both beer and coffee, and is titled 'Best of Both Brews.'

Pure Wine's 'The Wand' is an example of unique innovations that enhance the drinking experience. The Wand can be placed in wine before they it is consumed, and filters out the components of the beverage that are likely to induce hangovers.
