'Prismcups' is a smart thermos that can keep track of what you're ingesting. Because you can finish a beverage in a matter of minutes without feeling full, liquid calories can be the biggest contributor to an unhealthy diet. Based on the calorie content alone, a morning latte, followed by an afternoon soft drink and a beer with dinner works out to be the equivalent of eating a McDonald's 'Big Mac.'

Because liquids can be hard to keep track of, 'Prismcups' uses infrared sensors to detect what beverage it's containing, sending that information to an accompanied smartphone app for easy access. In addition to its convenient features, the smart thermos can also send notifications to users, reminding them to drink more water, and making a healthier diet second nature as a result.
