Top 80 Design Trends in May

From Modular WFH Systems to Transformative Cardboard Packaging:

While some of the May 2020 design trends are intended as solutions for obstacles brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated restrictions that have been imposed by the government, others aim to exercise one's creativity.

The AD-APT Modular System, for example, is launched with the aim to make stay-at-home life more comfortable. The series includes screens and walls that are designed to modify apartments for function-specific needs for activities like cooking, working, and playing.

Many creative brands are also reimagining everyday objects to match the demands of the virus outbreak. Studio Yield, for example, has created a spray-on hand sanitizer, while Liveable has launched the innovative 'Well-Distance-Being'—a project which employs a wearable rattan cage that is used as a tool to ensure people are safe and social distancing.
