London studio Pearson Lloyd has updated the first flat-pack chair design it completed for Danish furniture brand Takt. Dubbed the 'Cross Chair Tube,' the new model features recycled tubular steel for its frame instead of solid oak which was utilized by its predecessor. This allows for the silhouette to not only exude a modern and minimalist vibe, but it also makes for a more cost-effective alternative as tubular steel is a cheaper material than oak.
The flat-pack chair design is offered in three plywood finishes, but it can also be customized with Kvadrat fabrics and leathers based on personal preferences. In addition to the Cross Chair Tube, Takt and Pearson Lloyd also release a flat-pack wooden table to complement the seating options.
