Surman Weston was tasked with updating a 54-square-meter apartment in the Highgate neighborhood in London. The designer completely overhauled the interior, introducing many striking and custom decor elements. A definite highlight of the space is a "timber-framed porthole window that has been punctuated in a wall in the sitting room." This element allows for added fluidity and connection amid the rooms in the apartment.
