Modular Outdoor Seating Designs

The Take-Out Wedge is a Modular Outdoor Seating System

The Take-Out Wedge was designed by Rodrigo Torres for Landscape Forms as part of the Take-Out collection, a modular range of outdoor seating and tables for public spaces. The wedge-shaped unit introduces an angled seating arrangement that positions users between side-by-side and face-to-face interaction, encouraging informal conversation while maintaining a shared outward view.

The collection also includes single, double, triple, wheelchair-accessible, tall, and children's configurations that can be used individually or combined to create adaptable layouts. Powder-coated metal components, extruded aluminum supports, and nylon glides provide durability for outdoor environments.

The seating system can be arranged into linear rows, curved configurations, radial clusters, and enclosed gathering spaces to suit plazas, campuses, workplaces, and hospitality settings. Color-matched connector brackets secure adjoining units for permanent installations, while optional tabletops with umbrella openings expand the system's functionality.
