These healthcare innovations will have you thinking about all the ways that people are taking care of their bodies. The innovations range from pills and futuristic ambulances, to luxurious hospital rooms.
The healthcare innovations are indicative of a lucrative industry that is progressing at a very rapid rate. One interesting concept is clothing or textiles that have medicine embedded within its fibers and provide a time-release for giving the drugs. The drug-riddled rug is another product that I find particularly interesting.
Implications - The eco-movement has made consumers more mindful of their own physical well-being. These consumers are willing to try new and innovate ways to stay healthy, and companies should take this mindset into account when creating products and services to this growing demographic.
