The top 2015 modern trends speak to contemporary design language and its implications for commercial art and design.

One particular innovation that speaks to the breadth of inspirations in terms of contemporary design is the process of Buick in developing shades for their vehicles. With the color team deeply entrenched in all sorts of design mediums, the inspiration for the palate for the 2016 Buick Enclave came from chocolate and other culinary concoctions.

The annual Milan Design Week also saw the addition of a Children's component, which served as a forward-thinking forum for adults and kids alike to delve into what exactly a smart toy design is.
