Proti Proudu Bistro is a Prague cafe that revolves around the fundamental theme of connection. Although people make connection with others all the time, this particular connection involves coffee. Yet the theme is incredibly abstract. The interior of the Prague cafe adheres to a minimalist all-white look that is accented with warm woods and a lot of electrical wires.
It is these electrical wires that signify the idea of connection. This was inspired by František Krizik, the Karlín-born electrical engineering innovator. While most people try to hide their wires these days with all of the technology used on a daily basis, it's surprising to see such a striking establishment as this Prague cafe embrace it so enthusiastically. Yet it works with the overall decor while providing people with a contemporary escape.
