Visible from the outside, this statement staircase is a vibrant addition to the ultramodern private home. Located in Lima, Peru, Casa Blanca is a gorgeous home designed to appear like a solid single block.
Divided into three levels, the house boasts floor-to-ceiling windows on the main floor that reveal the epic orange spiral staircase that conjures up visions of the Nickelodeon logo. A bright mixture of white and orange, the first floor is complemented by a basement and stunning rooftop terrace.
Designed by architect Martin Dulanto Sangalli, the home is centered around the statement staircase that gives the space a more laid back feeling to an otherwise all-white scheme that would otherwise border on being clinical. The design also integrated sustainable elements that encourage natural sources of light and natural ventilation.
