Hamid Bekradi looked to the great wheels of military and funerary carts to influence an exaggerated version. Taking advantage of relatively recent developments in hub-less wheel technology, the designer was able to free up the entire space inside the shallow cylindrical car. Glossy metal on the outside, the modern coffin carriage has a quilted fabric interior to cushion the casket, providing a flashy horse-drawn 'Last Ride.'
