The vehicle design boasts an ultra-modern silhouette with the namesake hatchback construction to offer ample space in the trunk for storage and even lounge space in the interior cabin. The car is also imagined as a convertible that can be opened up to offer an open-air seating section perfect for enjoying the warm weather.

The conceptual MINI Spaceman Hatchback has an electric drivetrain and a steering wheel with a yoke-like design. This boasts a dedicated section in the middle for the driver's smartphone to be placed for further technology integration.
