12 Community Gardens

From Coffee Connection Sites to Ribbed Architectural Generators:

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) and community gardens are kind of like a new age look at food and produce. I mean, gardening in the nostalgic sense was always a practice based on collectivity and co-operation. However, with corporate farming and globalization, many societies, especially in the West, have become alienating from not only how their food is produced but also how they prepare and eat their food. How many of your meals are spent alone or in front of the television? The power of collective food preparation and sharing is paramount, especially for young children in that they can learn eating habits, they can source family values and they improve their overall quality of life.

The American Community Gardening Association describes community a community garden as "Any piece of land gardened by a group of people." It's that simple.
